Handyman Home Genius LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you request an estimate or contact us, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, the project's street address and ZIP code, the service you are interested in, and details about your project. The same applies to estimate requests you send through our AI website assistant, described below.

How online estimate requests are kept

Estimate requests sent through this website, by the form or the AI assistant, are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, so a request isn't lost if an email fails. Netlify also emails a copy to our business inbox. Access is limited to our business's own website account, and we delete requests we no longer need.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and prepare an estimate
• To schedule and complete work you request
• To communicate with you about your project

We do not sell your personal information.

Our AI website assistant

Handyman AI, the chat assistant on this website, is an automated AI program, not a person. Its answers can contain mistakes. Pricing and project details are confirmed only in your estimate.

• Your chat messages. What you type is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate replies. Anthropic handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
• What our website keeps. We do not save chat conversations on our website. Your conversation is kept in your own browser only while that tab is open. Our website records basic usage counts, such as how many messages were sent, but not what you wrote. To limit abuse, your IP address is kept only in a scrambled (hashed) form, for up to two days.
• Estimate requests. The assistant can prepare an estimate request for you to review. Nothing is sent until you check the consent box and press Send. We then receive your name, contact details, street address if you give it, city or ZIP, service, project description, preferred timeline and contact method, a short AI-written summary of the chat, the page you were on, and the time you gave consent.
• Sensitive information. Please don't share payment card, bank, Social Security or other sensitive details in the chat. Numbers that look like card or Social Security numbers are removed from the project description and chat summary before an estimate request is sent to us.
