About This Service

Flooring Installation in Northeast Ohio

New flooring changes how a room looks, feels and holds up. We install luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, hardwood and tile, and sand and refinish hardwood floors, for homeowners, landlords and property investors across Northeast Ohio, and finish each job with baseboard, shoe molding and clean transitions between rooms.

A good floor starts underneath, so we check the subfloor and repair or level it where needed before the new floor goes down. Starting labor prices for LVP installation and shoe molding are listed in our Price Guide; removing the old floor, prep and site conditions are part of each estimate.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Installation

LVP is one of the floors we are asked about most. It stands up to daily traffic, cleans easily and handles moisture better than wood floors, which makes it a practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms and basements. How water-resistant a floor is depends on the product, so we help you compare options before you buy.

Hardwood & Laminate Flooring Installation

Hardwood suits homes where a natural wood floor is the goal, and laminate gives you a wood look at a lower cost for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways. We help you weigh durability, moisture and budget for each room.

Hardwood Floor Sanding & Refinishing

Scratched, dull or worn hardwood floors can often be brought back instead of replaced. We sand away the worn finish and surface scratches, then apply new stain if you want a color change and a fresh protective finish. It is a good way to restore original hardwood in older Northeast Ohio homes or hardwood uncovered under old carpet.

Tile Floors & Backsplashes

Ceramic and porcelain tile for bathrooms, entries and kitchens, plus tile backsplashes. When new flooring is part of a bigger project, see kitchen remodeling or bathroom remodeling.

Tear-Out, Subfloor Repair & Leveling

Removing the old floor, repairing soft or water-damaged subfloor and leveling low spots is what keeps a new floor flat and quiet. If a leak caused the damage, the source is fixed before the new floor goes in.

Flooring for Rentals & Room Refreshes

Landlords and investors often pair new LVP with fresh paint between tenants, and homeowners do the same when updating a room. We can handle both in one project with our interior painting service. A small fix, like replacing a cracked tile, can be part of a handyman service call.

Questions

Flooring & LVP Installation FAQs

Which flooring is best for my home?

It depends on the room, how it is used and your budget. Luxury vinyl plank is popular for kitchens, baths and basements, while hardwood and tile suit other spaces. We will help you compare options.

Is LVP a good choice for a basement?

Often, yes. LVP handles moisture better than hardwood or carpet, which is why it is a popular basement floor in Northeast Ohio. The floor underneath needs to be dry and reasonably flat first, and water resistance depends on the product, so we look at the space and help you choose.

Can you refinish my existing hardwood floors?

Often, yes. Sanding removes the worn finish, scratches and surface stains, and a new stain and protective finish brings the floor back. Deep damage or boards that are worn too thin may need repair or replacement instead, and we will tell you what we find before the work starts.

Should I refinish my hardwood or replace it with LVP?

If the hardwood is solid and has enough wood left to sand, refinishing keeps a natural wood floor. LVP can make more sense in rooms that see moisture, like basements, or when the old floor is badly damaged. We will help you compare the two for each room.

Can LVP be installed over my existing floor?

Sometimes. It depends on what is there now, how flat it is and how the added height affects doors and transitions. We will tell you during the estimate whether the old floor should come out.

How much does flooring installation cost?

Starting labor prices for LVP installation and shoe molding are listed in our Price Guide. Your estimate also reflects removing the old floor, floor preparation, leveling, subfloor repairs, transitions and materials.

Do you install flooring I have already bought?

Yes. We can install flooring you have purchased, or help you choose a product that suits the room and your budget.

Do you install flooring in rental properties?

Yes. We install flooring for landlords and property investors, often together with painting and repairs between tenants.

Can you repair part of a floor?

Often, yes. We repair damaged tile and flooring sections, and replace subfloor where it has failed.

Do you remove the old flooring?

Yes. Tear-out and removal of existing flooring can be included in your estimate.
